Rhonda K. Grubbs and Michael D. Kristofco Present Webinar on Drug and Alcohol Testing and Policies

On October 6, 2016, Rhonda K. Grubbs and Michael D. Kristofco presented “Drug and Alcohol Testing and Policies: How Will the New PA Medical Marijuana Act Affect Your District?” This webinar, provided via the Pennsylvania Association of School Personnel Administrators, focused on Pennsylvania’s new Medical Marijuana Act and potential liability issues. The webinar included a discussion of the impact of OSHA’s final rules on electronic reporting of workplace injuries on mandatory post-accident drug and alcohol testing. Finally, the presenters covered best practices for drug and alcohol policies and testing and recent case law regarding invasion of privacy claims against employers arising out of positive drug tests.
