On Friday, June 16, Wisler Pearlstine Associate Kathleen M. Mannard will co-present on Ethics/Role of the Solicitor via live webcast for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s (PBI) Municipal Law Colloquium 2023. The presentation will offer training and insights on the challenges and rewards of meeting the professional responsibilities solicitors have to municipalities while staying on the right side of the Ethics Act. A member of the firm’s Municipal and Real Estate, Zoning, and Land Development practice groups, Ms. Mannard advises clients on a wide range of matters impacting municipalities, developers, corporations, and individuals, including, but not limited to, code enforcement, contract and agreement development, ordinance formulation and review, land use and zoning matters, property acquisition and subdivision, and land development.
She regularly handles matters governed by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code and the Code’s intersection with agency regulations and constitutional law. Ms. Mannard earned her law degree with a concentration in environment and energy law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
