James J. Garrity and Andrew R. Freimuth Speak at Pennsylvania Bar Institute Real Estate Program

On December 8, 2016, Partners James J. Garrity and Andrew R. Freimuth spoke on the topic of “Municipal Land Development Agreements” as part of a panel at the 20th Annual Real Estate Program presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Philadelphia. The presentation concerned the more complex provisions that need to be contained in such agreements because so little guidance is provided by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. In addition, the presentation was made to assist both developers’ attorneys and municipal solicitors so that negotiations will result in an agreement that is reasonably workable for both sides in large construction projects.
