Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that partner Amy P. De Shong has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society and membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership. The number of Fellowships has been kept at an exclusive limit by design, allowing qualifications, diversity and inclusion to align effectively, with recognition of excellence in litigation across all segments of the bar.
Amy P. De Shong is one of Pennsylvania’s leading family law attorneys. A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a national organization of approximately 1,600 highly skilled family law litigators and negotiators, she has been selected by her peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America by U.S. News and World Report for family law for the last 6 years. A past Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section and its Continuing Legal Education and Law Reporter Committees, Ms. De Shong lectures, writes, and plans courses on family law matters for the Montgomery Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery Bar Association.
