Jason Herron is a partner with Wisler Pearlstine and a member of the firm’s Business, Corporate, and Tax and Real Estate, Zoning, and Land Development practice groups. He serves as practice group coordinator for the firm’s Real Estate practice group, assistant director of the firm’s General Counsel Initiative, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Mr. Herron acts as outside general counsel to various closely held business entities, assisting with their daily legal and business advisory needs. He also represents financial institutions, municipalities, school districts, and private individuals and entities in a wide variety of commercial transactions and financial matters. Mr. Herron focuses his practice on the negotiation and documentation of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leases, and the representation of lenders and borrowers in various types of commercial financing transactions, including: construction loans, lines of credit, real estate and asset-secured loans, loan participations, and bond issues. He also has substantial experience in the areas of business structuring and formation, contract law, zoning and land use, municipal law, real estate tax assessment appeals, and condominium and community association law.

Mr. Herron graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Joseph’s University and received his juris doctorate from Temple University.

  • Represented home building company in purchase of a 170 lot residential subdivision and closing of $30 million dollar acquisition, development, and construction loan facility.
  • Represented borrower in the closing of a $150 million refinancing of fourteen residential apartment complexes.
  • Represented lead bank in closing of $8.5 million dollar “take-out” financing for retail center and negotiation of participation agreement with participating bank.
  • Represented landlord in negotiation of multi-million dollar ground lease with national drug store chain.
  • Represented lead bank in closing of $12 million acquisition, development, and construction financing for residential subdivision and negotiation of participation agreement with participating bank.
  • Represented medical device manufacturing company in the simultaneous acquisition of two new facilities, one for use as its headquarters, and one for its manufacturing operations.
  • Represented township client in the negotiation and documentation of a complex, long-term public/private partnership that resulted in the restoration of a township facility and the creation of a new and significant revenue stream for the township.
