James J. Garrity
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our partner, friend, and colleague, James “Jim” J. Garrity, Esq.
Jim followed in his father’s footsteps and spent his entire 47-year career at Wisler Pearlstine, LLP, as a member of the Municipal Law and Real Estate, Zoning, and Land Development practice groups.
In 2020, in celebration of the firm’s 75th anniversary in practice, Jim spearheaded the creation of the Wisler Pearlstine Charitable Fund which provides grants annually to organizations in the communities we are proud to serve.
“The Garrity name is synonymous with Wisler Pearlstine and Jim’s legacy is everlasting,” said Firm Administrative Partner Amy T. Brooks. “A consummate professional, devoted family man and cherished friend, Jim lead with integrity and a generosity of spirit. Together, we mourn this loss to our firm family and will continue to be inspired by Jim and the life he led.”
Jim leaves a tremendous legacy, both professionally and personally, and he will be deeply missed. He was an extraordinary person and a beloved member of our firm family. Our hearts are with Jim’s wife, Rosemary, and the entire Garrity family.
