Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that prominent Montgomery County attorney Edward J. Hughes has joined the firm as Of Counsel effective July 1, 2025.

Mr. Hughes is a member of Wisler Pearlstine’s Business, Corporate, and Tax practice and based out of the firm’s Blue Bell office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of land use, zoning, real estate development, commercial transactions, business formation, condominium and community associations, and estate planning and administration. Mr. Hughes’ clients include landowners, developers and tenants in connection with the acquisition, leasing, permitting and funding of residential and commercial projects, real estate developments, retail centers, office complexes, quarries and other land uses. He also represents borrowers in a variety of transactional and financing matters and individuals and families in estate planning and administration.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ed and his practice to Wisler Pearlstine,” said Firm Administrative Partner Amy Brooks. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm and will further expand the exceptional attorney resources we have available for our clients.”

Prior to joining Wisler Pearlstine, Mr. Hughes was a founding partner of the now closed Hughes, Kalkbrenner & Ozorowski, LLP (formerly Kaufman & Hughes), a general practice law firm in Plymouth Meeting, PA, where he practiced for over 46 years. A graduate of Villanova Law School, Mr. Hughes received his juris doctorate in 1974 and holds a bachelor of science in economics from LaSalle College.

“I am excited to embark on this next chapter of my career with Wisler Pearlstine,” said Mr. Hughes. “I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues to continue to serve my clients and contribute to the firm’s growth.”
