Mr. Diasio represents public school districts and other educational entities on a wide range of general school law matters involving topics such as board governance; policy development; student rights, responsibilities, and discipline; residency disputes; the use of technology, social media, and application software in the school setting; contract development and review; and compliance with federal, state, and local law and regulations.
Mr. Diasio is passionate about his work and opportunities to support and advocate for students and public education at both the local and state level. He prioritizes and values building strong professional relationships with his clients and truly understanding their individualized goals and desired outcomes. Mr. Diasio believes that this approach to the practice of law is critical to being an effective advocate and achieving success as his clients define it.
Mr. Diasio is a former member of the North Penn Board of School Directors. In that role, he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and was selected by his Board colleagues to represent North Penn on the Joint Operating Committee of the North Montco Technical Career Center and on the Board of Directors of the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit. He was named to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Stars List, in the area of Schools & Education, in 2022 and 2023. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. A graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, Mr. Diasio obtained dual undergraduate degrees in Accountancy and Business Administration from the Villanova School of Business. Prior to his legal career, he worked in public accounting for KPMG, LLP as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and, during law school, for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.
