

Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that respected education attorney Allison S. Petersen has joined the firm’s Blue Bell office as a partner effective January 1, 2026.
Ms. Petersen joins the firm’s esteemed Education Law practice, representing public school districts and other academic institutions in complex litigation, appellate matters, and high-stakes administrative proceedings. She also serves as a school solicitor and legal counsel advising public and private schools on a wide-range of legal matters.

Ms. Petersen has extensive experience advocating for schools in federal and state trial and appellate courts as well as before administrative agencies. She is particularly well known for her work around the Pennsylvania Charter School Law, regularly appearing on charter school matters before the State Charter School Appeal Board, the Pennsylvania appellate courts, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Prior to joining Wisler Pearlstine, Ms. Petersen was a shareholder at Levin Legal Group, P.C., in Huntingdon Valley, PA, since 2001. She holds a bachelor of arts from Ursinus College and received her juris doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law at Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Petersen is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations.
