1. Associate Attorney - Education Law (Blue Bell Office)
Our firm is seeking an associate attorney with 2-4 years’ experience to join our Education Law practice. The successful candidate will have a significant amount of direct client interaction as well as litigation responsibilities. As such, the ability to independently and confidently give clear, concise, and practical guidance in a timely manner is critical. The ability to independently handle litigation and administrative hearings is also imperative. The successful candidate will also attend and participate in evening public meetings for our school district clients as the representative from the Solicitor’s office and should be comfortable operating in these public settings.
Qualifications:
• Excellent writing, research and organizational skills
• Experience in Education Law, and education-related field or other public sector legal experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment
• Proficiency with legal office software, document management and billing systems
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited school
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
2. Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Education Law (Blue Bell Office)
Our firm is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal for our Education Law practice group. This is a full-time role, based in our Blue Bell office, and involves day-to-day tasks such as legal document preparation, communication with clients, mailings, binder preparation and document review. This role will also provide general administrative assistance such as maintaining attorney calendars and assisting other staff by working cooperatively to achieve the goals of the firm. Some work from home is acceptable.
Qualifications:
- Legal knowledge and understanding of legal terminology
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in legal document preparation
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication
- Strong research skills, including legal research and case analysis
- Attention to detail and ability to review and analyze legal documents accurately and efficiently
- Paralegal Certification or Equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases (preferred)
- Experience in Document Management
- Experience in the field of education/special education or education law a plus
