

Wisler Pearlstine, LLP is pleased to announce that Shonti F. Tager has joined the firm as an associate in its Newtown office. Shonti joins the the firm’s Real Estate, Zoning, and Land Development practice group, chaired by Edward F. Murphy.
Mr. Tager comes to Wisler Pearlstine after serving as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas W. Sumners, Jr. in the New Jersey Superior Court’s Appellate Division. A 2019 graduate of Rutgers Law School, Shonti was elected as Editor-In-Chief of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy and also served as an executive board member to the school’s chapter of the National Lawyers Guild and also its Black Law Students Association.
A Mercer County resident, Shonti is a member of the Philadelphia, Mercer County, and Bucks County Bar Associations. He received his undergraduate degree in Communications with an emphasis in Journalism from Southern Oregon University (B.A., 2009) where he was a linebacker for the school’s football team. After college, Shonti worked as a reporter, anchor, and producer for local television stations in South Dakota, Georgia, and Florida.
