Amy Brooks is an associate with Wisler Pearlstine, concentrating her practice in the area of Education Law.
Ms. Brooks is a 2005 graduate of the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Temple Political & Civil Rights Law Review. She also was the recipient of the Harriet Robinson Gillock Memorial Award for integrity, professionalism and personal dedication to fellow students and the law school community.
Ms. Brooks held a number of legal internships during law school, including positions with the Center for Community Non-Profit Organizations, Temple Legal Aid and the Philadelphia School District.
Prior to law school, she was an elementary school teacher and women’s basketball coach at Haverford College, where she remains a member of the Corporation and President’s Advisory Committee.
Ms. Brooks co-authored an article for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association Bulletin titled "Student and Staff Issues in Extra-Curricular Activities" and was a co-presenter at the 2007 Pennsylvania School Boards Association School Solicitor's Symposium 2007 summer conference titled, "The Upper Dublin Debt Act Referendum: A Series of Fortunate Events."
