For over 30 years, Mr. Landsburg has concentrated his legal practice in the areas of federal, state and local taxation as well as estate planning. His clients include primarily family-owned businesses and individuals who are seeking counsel in structuring their financial affairs in a manner to preserve family wealth by minimizing estate transfer tax costs. In addition to being a licensed attorney in Pennsylvania, Mr. Landsburg is also a certified public accountant (CPA). Committed to service for the Montgomery Bar Association, Mr. Landsburg has served as a Director, as well as Chairman of both its Probate and Tax Section as well as its Financial Management Committee. He is currently Chair of the Audit Committee. In addition, Mr. Landsburg is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. A graduate of Bucknell University (BSBA 1970), Mr. Landsburg received his law degree in 1973 from Duquesne University School of Law.
Representative Matters:
- Counsel to high net worth individuals/families representing them in all matters of day-to-day issues including coordination with financial advisors and accountants.
- Represented many individuals/families in structuring estate plans to maximize transfer tax savings and preserve family wealth.
- Counseled many family-owned businesses on issues of succession planning and prepared documentation to implement transition plan.
- Represented several businesses in negotiating and structuring bank debt to maintain ongoing viability of business enterprise.
